Lily is a qualified art teacher with a background in textile and fashion design. She studied Arts and Textile Design at the University of Marmara, Faculty of Fine Arts in Istanbul, and spent several years working in the fashion industry, where she developed a strong appreciation for creativity, craftsmanship, and visual storytelling.
After moving to the UK in 1999, Nilufer balanced raising her two children with part-time roles in high-end fashion and interior design retail. Her passion for art eventually led her to retrain as a teacher, and she now works in secondary education, where she shares her deep love for the arts with her students.
She is SEN-experienced and holds a valid DBS certificate, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all children, including those with additional needs.
Through Mini Michelangelos, Lily hopes to inspire even younger children to explore the world through creativity. She believes that engaging with art from an early age nurtures confidence, imagination, and emotional growth—and that making art should always be joyful, playful, and full of possibility.
Our team at Mini Michelangelos is committed to providing a supportive and enjoyable environment where children can explore their artistic talents and develop their skills. We take pride in our ability to create a positive and inspiring art experience for every child who walks through our doors.
